The Actros is extremely economical thanks to a host of innovations that reduce fuel consumption. These include new economical Euro VI engines featuring BlueTec®, the SCR diesel technology from Mercedes-Benz, cooled exhaust gas recirculation and diesel particulate filter. The engines cover a power range from 175 to 460 kW and offer high torque response from idle speed.
