| According to the results of this year’s customer survey, Mercedez-Benz was granted three gold awards. The brand became one of the most successful car brands in the respective market segment owing to its high product quality. The research was conducted by research firm of J.D. Power and Associates, which makes an analysis of performance criteria in the American market year by year. This year, the E-, S- and SL-Class models received gold awards. The said Mercedez-Benz models were considered as the highest quality vehicles in their market segment. The Mercedez-Benz plant in Zindelfingen also received a silver J.D. Power and Associates award. Mercedez-Benz became fifth overall and kept up to the mark in terms of performance criteria. This success accounts for specific measures taken by Mercedez-Benz to improve customer satisfaction and vehicle quality. It should be noted that the launch of new S- and M-Class models as well as the appearance in the market of new generations of E- and SL-class vehicles are the most important success factors for the brand in terms of performance criteria. According to the study made in the United States, Mercedez-Benz showed the strongest performance against the previous year. When doing annual survey, the American Center researchers ask new car customers about their satisfaction within the first three months from the day when the car is bought. They also rate the vehicles’ quality of production and design quality. |
